Marc Theermann
- Chief Strategy Officer of Boston Dynamics
In his role as Chief Strategy Officer, Theermann oversees the development and implementation of Boston Dynamics’ commercialization strategy. Theermann is responsible for product, marketing, shareholder management, and business development functions. He joins Boston Dynamics from Google, where he was responsible for cross-product strategy and key account management for the global gaming and startup verticals. Theerman has more than two decades of experience working with high-growth companies, including PlaceIQ, AdMeld, which sold to Google ($400M), and Millennial Media, which he sold to AOL/Verizon for $250M. Marc entered the mobile industry by co-founding two prominent Boston wireless firms: YellowPepper (sold to Touch Applications in 2004) and Everypoint. He holds an MBA degree from Northeastern University, and a Masters in International Management from Thunderbird. He speaks English, German, and French, is married and has two daughters.
